46Mile is a data-driven company with a focus on brands in Northern California located in the Bay Area. The Bay Area is made up of the North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay centered by iconic San Francisco, also known as the 7X7 city. We are precise when it comes to data and the truth is, the city is not 7X7 or 49 miles squared, it’s actually a little less. The data tells us it is 46.8 miles. And if you take out the Farallon Islands and Yerba Buena (where you typically can’t live) it’s actually 46.1 miles. We rounded down and the URL was available.
